About Faherty BrandL

Faherty BrandL grew out of a simple idea: cloth that feels like a long weekend by the water, made to stay in rotation season after season. Chelsea Loom Co LLC runs this shop from Chelsea in Manhattan, cutting coastal-inspired shirts, sweaters, dresses, and lounge pieces for people who live in them.

The house is known for broken-in textures, easy fits, and color that looks like sun on salt air. We work with mills and sew shops that can hold a hand-feel, then finish each style so it drapes the way it should on day one and year three.

How we make

Design starts in New York. Fabrics are chosen for breathability, stretch where it helps, and recovery that survives travel. We keep a tight palette, a small set of fits, and a long view on what belongs in a closet.

Where we stand

Faherty BrandL partners with community programs and Native designers on seasonal capsules. We prefer materials with a lighter footprint when they can still meet the hand-feel, and we publish those choices on our Impact page.
